Also, Kobe on Conan was great.

www.lakersmedia.com has a HD stream.

You see when Luke starts talking trash about his dad, the whole stadium starting chanting "Boston Sucks" LOL Classic

I know some people who live on 42nd and they were gonna let me park on their lawn. I was planning on stopping by, but I got up at about 10. I turned the tv on and the place was already half full. Did they give free stuff out ?

Nothing crazy. Just shit with the NIKE puppets on it which was alright. No seriously they closed the gates at 10. There was probably another 50-100K outside trying to get in.

Another observation: I could not attend SC merely due to the "distractions" running around on campus. How do you do it man?

This is why you don’t talk trash to Kobe Bryant
Published by Chris Manning on July 10, 2009 in kobe watch. 15 Comments
From Kobe’s Basketball Academy tonight, Kobe accepted the challenge of a one-on-one game with a trash-talking-happy camper.

Earlier in the day, when we were filming the courts with Kobe roaming them watching his campers, the camper told Kobe he’d “need lotion for his feet when he was done.” Kobe, beaming at his young camper, responded with, “I’ve got a long list of people like you.” The trash talking continued on in a fun, competitive way; both smiling at each other.

When it was almost time for the one on one game, Kobe told the kid he could shoot for outs and told him he’d better make it or it’s game over for him.

Kobe backed him down point after point; telling him he wouldn’t take it easy on him as promised earlier in the week when he accepted the camper’s challenge.

At the end of it, Kobe won 5-0 and grabbed the mic to ask him what the kid had learned. The courageous camper responded with, “You won’t be able to win at Lebron’s camp!”

Kobe, laughing, responded back with: “I also won’t get dunked on in my own camp.”

ROFL Owned

Really though, Kobe and probably Dwayne Wade are the best bball players in the NBA. Lebron is also in that elite group as well, but he relies more on the fact that he's just a physical specimen part mutant because of his size and strength, makes it hard for others at his position to guard him, but he's not the best pure NBA player by any means.

Kinda like Brock Lesnar in the UFC. He's surely not the best heavyweight fighter in MMA or UFC for that matter, but his size, speed, strength and wrestling background makes it extremely hard for others to take him on. Once he's on top of you, you're pretty much screwed.

Speaking of UFC fight, Sat 7/11 is going to be awesome.

Artest finds company at the gym

All I can say is thank goodness for Ron Artest. He quickly has become the eyes and ears of Lakers fans via Twitter.
He reported Thursday that he arrived at the gym early, early in the morning for a hard workout, but once inside, he discovered he wasn’t alone.
“3rd workout done. Let me tell why I LOVE KOBE “JELLY BEAN”BRYANT! I Get to the gym at 6:45,the Black Mamba gets there at 5:30! Go Lakers!!!”
Apparenlty Bryant, too, is eager for the season. Aren’t we all?

Love the work ethic.
