Have you ever been to a game at Arrowhead?

I guess that includes Belichick as well then right?

Do you really think it would be a good idea to just assume he could pull another QB out of his ass?

That's when you get to the point of arrogance, I'm so good I can draft some guy no ones ever heard of and make him great!

Going to Arrowhead is alot like going to a pro wrestling event.

This is what I don't get. I agree that obviously Pioli and Haley understand the importance of a franchise QB, so if they pass on one of these guys, there must be a question mark there...

That would be a logical assumption doomy or the other option is Pioli\Haley are morons.

I agree with most of your point but that still didn't answer my question. If they pass on the QB's doesn't that say more about the QB's than it does about Pioli\Haley?

I would think so.

Matt Stafford is as good of a QB prospect as you are going to find. He's smart, experienced, has a great build, he's mobile, and he has a rocket arm.

If a team that needs a franchise QB passes on him it either says that they don't trust their own coaches, or they have no idea what to look for in a QB.

Big question.

IIRC Pioli and Belichick came into NE together but Bill obviously picked his own staff

Definitely not and I am not counting on that. I am sure he realizes that as well.

In place. He didn't have any juice to do any of that stuff. Everything that was built in NE was mainly done by Belichick. Pioli was just his consigliere.

You don't need to sell me I love Stafford but if they passed on him, which I highly doubt they would, there must have been something they didn't like.

They only drafted Tom Brady because the QB coach basically threatened to sodomize them if they didn't.

Is it chaos theory that says even if you put the exact same things in the exact same places again, that they won't turn out the same way?

Anyway, that's what I think. The greatness known as 2000s Patriots cannot be recreated just by putting the same pieces together.

Not to be an ass, but isn't Cassel the textbook definition of this? The guy was a career COLLEGE backup, let alone an NFL professional clipboard holder.

But anyway what's with the link police lately...

Matt Cassell is the kind of draft pick you make when you already have your franchise QB, not when you don't have one.
