Two scenarios:

Chiefs draft Sanchez and hold either him or Cassel hostage. We'd likely get #12, #18 any maybe a later pick for Sanchez - and likely the 18th for Cassel. Maybe more seeing as how big a hard-on McDaniels has for him.

In either scenario, the Chiefs come out HUGE winners, IMO.

If the Chiefs draft Sanchez our fan base is going to meltdown....I'd be happy with it but general fan will be very upset.

What you don't get Mecca is that I really do like Sanchez and I wish that the Chiefs could get him. But, now that they went and got Cassel, I really think the better pick at #3 is defense for them. Our defense blows and improvement there is mandatory this offseason. Curry seems to be great value and if someone could convince me that a better defensive player exists at #3, I may like him better.

The Bears are my favorite NFC team. If Cutler wins them a Superbowl it would be so great. Not saying it will happen but just imagine the reaction in Denver.
