The Wildcat on 3rd and 5? The Jets are trying their best to give this game to the Bengals.

I believe you cannot fully evaluate Cassel until he gets some help on the field... Weis is a great start...

Even I think Sanchez is going to be a good QB. But people are talking like he's winning them the game, time to chill out. And he's had a solid game, but their running game, and especially their defense are what has them up front.

They have basically played a very Herm-esque game, they just have the personnel to do it. They're out there running wildcat in 3rd down situations.

I doubt that anyone here actually believes he is winning the game.

Much of what is posted is tongue in cheek.

Once again, Cassel had plenty of help on the field when he played the Bengals.

I don't think you can tell whether or not a guy has "it" from one year starting in college. That's my whole point.

I (obviously) disagree. You won't know but you can see the potential there (mechanics, accuracy, decision making, leadership).

(And this has nothing to do with Cassel. I didn't want the Chiefs to trade for him in the first place, although I hope to Christ he turns into something, and soon.)

Generally I would agree with that but Sanchez had a couple of things in his favor IMO - 1) playing in a pro-style offense and 2) he graduated. That showed alot more to me that he could overcome the lack of snaps (for the most part that is on Carroll for being a dipshit instead of Sanchez). If he was in this draft, he would be #1 overall no doubt in my mind.

That's pretty dumb. Cassel plays for the Chiefs. Sanchez plays for the Jets. Ya think that might have something to do with it? Stafford is 0. You think Sanchez is better than Stafford?

And the Bengals wake up.

smittysbar 01-09-2010 06:02 PM

Anyone have a live feed for the game?

Once again, Cassel got plenty of help from his teammates against the Bengals.

He shit the bed.
