Found out later that if I was ever stopped, and because of really stupid laws, I could have been prosecuted for transporting across county lines.

I've even heard planes, in the past, while flying over KS couldn't serve liquor or even let you possess it after being served while over other states.

Not sure if the last part is true or not, I wasn't around during the Howard Hughes days.

I knew about the county lines crap but have never heard about the airline issue. That is just plain dumb.

Still selling 3.2 beer is just plain dumb. No sales on Sunday too!

In Oklahoma it is the whole state.

Yes, 3.2 is dumb. That's why smart people in Kansas don't buy from the grocery/convenience stores.

As for Sunday, they sell it on Sunday here in Topeka. ;)

I think they've pretty much done away with the Sunday ban. I haven't seen a closed liquor store on Sunday in a couple years.

And only morons buy beer from grocery stores in KS. Going to MO and seeing half the store filled with wine and liquor is still a strange sight though.

In Kansas on Sundays it is by city and they have to a special license to sell on Sundays.

Yup, both Highland and Hiawatha were no sell on Sunday's. Which REALLY sucked if you ran outta beer watching Sunday football. Watching the Chiefs the last couple season sober is not fun.

I once drank 10 3.2 beers in about 1.5 hrs in Denver and barely had a buzz. ****ing grocery store beer.

They don't do that shit in Cali.

Yeah, something similar happened to me the first time I visited Colorado, I killed a six pack and didn't even feel it. I had no idea at the time that I was drinking 3.2 beer.
