Bradford & Luck wouldn't be such a bad QB combo to have. A team could get by pretty well with that as the QB stable. Luck would be cheap to keep as a backup given the new rookie scale. Heck - if Luck looked really good, Bradford could back up instead.

This does not make sense. If you have already used the first pick of the draft on a QB two years back you do not do it again with the idea of keeping both.

If you have the opportunity to get Luck cheap, you do it. Let the rest settle out later. They can always trade Bradford to whoever needs a QB - like KC or Denver. How much would KC give up for Bradford?

I'd rather take my chances with Jones/Barkley than Bradford. The guy was 29/33 QBR last season and is 29/32 QBR this season. Broncos can have him.

Official after week 4. The adjustments of team strength based on week 4 games really shook things up. KC definitely needs more suck.

St Louis 17.5%
Seattle 17%
Minnesota 15%
Miami 14.5%
Indianapolis 10%
KC 9%
Atlanta 4%
Field 13%

Can you project how that might change based on next weeks KC/Indy game?

No ****ing way Stl takes Luck unless it is to trade.

They already gave $50MM to Bradford and Luck will still pull $30MM guaranteed.

Bradford will be fine and they know it.

The picks they might get trading the #1 would go a long way for that team.

You draft Luck and have 2QB's they don't help the team for the near future at all.

Asinine.

IMO, the only team that wouldn't take Luck is the Rams. ANY other team will take him, no matter their status at QB.

I would imagine the Rams could get some decent offers for Bradford aswell. That would be a tough spot if the Rams get the #1 pick. Do they try and trade the pick and if they don't get near what they want do they put Bradford on the market and draft Luck? I find it hard to believe with how much value that pick is worth that they ignore both routes and grab a WR or something.

I also think it is safe to infer that we are also not going to be the highest bidder for the top pick. Ergo, we must hope for losses if we want Luck.

It would be Cap suicide to trade Bradford.

Holding everything else constant, if we win our odds drop to 3% and if we lose our odds increase to 12%.

You can trade rights to Luck. StL will never put Luck under contract if they draft him.

No for 2 reasons.

They already gave Bradford about $30MM up front plus 2 years salary.

Bradford is a known albeit still a work in progress. Luck for all his hype is still an unknown on the NFL level.

They would still end up giving Luck big bank, not like Bradford but a new $30MM contract or so.

For what they have already given Bradford I bet keeping him would be cheaper by far over the rest of his existing contract and you have someone who has 2 years under his belt.
