I don't think it is going to be fun at all, because he is not going to be playing for our team for at least 6 years, and never if he is any good.

I've got a 2012 LCD Sharp Aquos in the family room and that thing puts out some heat. Not a ton, per se, but you can definitely feel the difference when it's on for an hour or so and walk out of the room. Someday, I'll replace the remaining four LCD's with LED's.

Cool. My Sharp is an Aquos as well. I'm not blown away by it's ability to show fast motion but I still am very happy with my choice, one I spend too much time on usually. Yeah my "man cave" doesn't do our bill any favors with the 3 TV's either.

One silly thing I like about it is the ability to turn off the video and leave the sound on. Whether it's listening to music on the sound system or falling asleep I feel it helps in the conservation attempt. I am someone who likes falling asleep with the TV on but not really for the visual aspect.

I have three Sharp Aquos and three Vizio's (2 LED's and one LCD). Believe it or not, I think I'll only purchase Vizio's from Costco in the future. They double the manufacturer's warranty for free and quite honestly, I think the Vizio's look just as good, if not better (LED).

Yeah it seems differences are getting smaller between the expensive big names and the value companies. Like I said I got really luck with the upgrade on my TV. I went from a decent level one to the highest quality Sharp has for free. The original was solid, especially compared to my old one, but this one is a lot better. Zero clouding which I enjoy because that drives me crazy.

Smith had 1737 yards 13tds 5ints in 9 regular season starts. 193 yards per game passing

Kaepernick also had 415 yards rushing in 7 starts...that's another 59 yards per game.

318 yards of offense per game average.

In that "9th" game Alex was 7 for 8 and a TD. Colin took over and lost the game.

We're really comparing 8 games to 8 games. Which dramatically changes the stats...Colin averaged about 20-30 yards more a game..and was not as efficient but had more big plays. His YPA was slightly better than Alex who was already doing quite well in that department. His running is what made Colin stand out..with that said, the rest of the team's running suffered for a while under Colin...then again, if Colin opens things up with his legs, who cares.

Colin is the better qb...but it's because of his legs..not his throwing. I really believe that Colin has what it takes to go to the HOF...Alex is a franchise QB and you're lucky to have him.

I thought that the first game with Colin filling in was a tie...

Yeah, that's the only bummer: It takes about 10 seconds or so to turn on and heat up. I'm usually so busy that sometimes, I'll hit the power button again, only to turn it off, because I'd forgotten if I actually turned it on! :D

LMAO I've totally done that.

It's that I understand why these moves were made, can deal with it, see it and hope that they continue to build this roster with the goal of a solid 2013 season.

There's no going for broke this year. There's no single player on the market that can change the fortunes of the Chiefs and there's no single QB in free agency or the draft that immediately changes the fortunes of the franchise. So with that in mind, I get it and I'm fairly confident they're moving the franchise forward.

Moving the franchise forward may sound easy, but look how ***** ****ed up an already ****ed up franchise even further.

I agree.

What an idiot. Yeah because Harbaugh chose to s hit on Alice Smith because he found a running back as QB?

You moron, Alexsexual. Stay out of the Niner forums you Alice lover!!

The whole "true fan" thing is nonsense anyway. It literally has no consistent meaning other than "guy who disagrees with my cynicism".

@ArrowheadAddict: Smith: I'm ready for this.

@ArrowheadAddict: Smith: I can't say how excited I am for it. Thankful for the opportunity.

I Agree with this tweet:

@Lance_THESPOKEN: Dorsey said the reason they signed Alex is because quote "He's shown he can play football at a very high level." WHEN????? #Chiefs

THE BEST ONE OF THEM ALL:

@Lance_THESPOKEN: Yes, Andy Reid just said they're gonna "work on getting Alex Smith in the Hall of Fame." Take it as you will, I didn't make it up. #Chiefs

They're already sold on Smith, way to keep your options open dick suckers:

@APdaveskretta: Andy Reid: "I'm going to tell you every position we try to create competition ... but I'll tell you, Alex is the starting QB" #Chiefs

Let me know when he's gone, I'm done with this shit organization.

@DannyParkins: Talked to #Chiefs GM John Dorsey away from the media and he says it's absolutely fair to say they view Alex Smith as longterm answer at QB.

but how will we reach you?

Because I think the Chiefs have made, essentially, lateral moves at QB. Thus, while it may be hyperbole to claim that the team has made no progress, it isn't substantial, meaningful progress, the type that leads to a championship.

The snaps that Alex Smith will take for this team are all wasted snaps in my view.

ceebz 03-14-2013 08:14 AM

Every year Smith is the starting QB on this team is another year wasted.

Signing these game managers to "get back to respectability" only delays the inevitable. Where in the hell is the logic in that?
