We were 19th in net passing yards.
15th in rushing 20th overall And 13th in total points which i think probably includes defensive scores... |

http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/teamoff I found the D last year to be frustrating in certain aspects. 3rd down conversions allowed (6th worst)... and run D (26th YPG ranked) stand out.. but they do get lots of credit for stopping TDs and takeaways. |

The offenses don't make a mistake results in the opposite redzone results. Reid, Smith, and the redzone run game can take the blame for that. |

You tried to be sneaky. Who was talking about efficiency stats? |

No one cares about efficiency stats if you aren't scoring points.
Counted for a hell of a lot in the postseason the last two years didn't it? |
Smith is a better QB than Trent green. 47-21 for Smith. Green 48-40. Smith is arguably the second best QB that has ever played for KC behind Dawson of course. You could add Joe but he only played for 2 seasons

However Green only made the playoffs twice in 7 seasons he was there. Smitty has taken the Chiefs to the playoffs 3 out of his 4 seasons and hasn't had a losing season as a Chief. |

Green certainly had an advantage with an incredible offensive line. The Chiefs punted 1 time in a playoff game at home and LOST the game. I often think about where Green would have taken this team if he had this roster. Smith would have absolutely had to change his style to win with the early 2000's team. Green would fit in perfect with this current team. |
