A young ass kicking RDE that can bend and play fast would really be the cherry on top of a nice defensive rebuild.

Davenport had a great 40 and 10 yard split coming out. He has a good combination of speed and power, and would really compliment Karlaftis well.

He'd fit the profile for sure. I'm just looking for more of a pure speed guy to be honest. Davenport's injury history scares me a bit.

Brian Burns would be my whale I'd be looking for if they decided they ain't paying him.

I wouldn't be against bringing in Ferrell on a cheap deal. He damn sure wouldn't be the only EDGE I'd sign though.

I think Davenport's 40 was 4.58 and Burns' 4.53 - it's near enough and Davenport can win more ways imo.

The good thing about Davenport too is that I don’t think he would command top dollar at the position.

Sign Davenport, and draft an EDGE on day 2 next year.

That allows you to finally go WR in round 1.
