Anybody see the player on the Detroit Lions get hurt and ended going off the field in an ambulance? If you watch the play he was injured on, you would think no way he could be injured that bad. The cameraman got shoved pretty hard, everyone has to agree on that at least, for anyone to say no way he could have sustained any injuries is being pretty closed minded. Adams didn’t give him a love tap. The NFL has to give Adams some kind of suspension, if only to deter other NFL players from committing similar assaults in the future.

His injury lawyer said he was in some serious pain.

Mike DePasquale.

Only thing that makes sense is a 10 year restraining order with a mile radius. Then Chiefs give this guy a 10 year contract that includes traveling with the team to Vegas once a year.

Really the only thing that makes sense for the camera guys protection...

I saw the whole thing. I was sitting in aisle 114 for the game. And afterwards, my friends and I rushed down to yell at the refs, and that's when Devonte did it. My friend called him a "dickwad" pretty loudly. LMAO

I was just making that up, but you know the lawyers we're salivating wanting to case his case. I'm sure he has one by now.

There's no stuff out there about him hiring a lawyer at all. He filled out a police report and criminal charges were filed. Nothing more.

Sorry if you got hit in the crossfire but this whole narrative about the camera guy wanting money is completely and utterly fabricated. There's been zero indication the guy is wanting money, suing, or anything of the sort.

Here is the play I was referring to where the Lions player got seriously injured, no way you would ever think this play would result in the player having to go to the hospital, thankfully he is OK, felt so sorry for the father running onto the field to check on his son. I think the cameraman deserves the benefit of the doubt considering Adams is the one who did the assault, Adams doesn’t deserve any kind of benefit from the general public.

If he's really injured, then yes.

What I'm objecting to is the attitude of making up injuries to "Go get that money woo-hoo! GET PAID MFER!!! Everyone else would do the same!" No, we wouldn't.

Also staylor I've had you on ignore for years. You are the worst most unnecessarily confrontational poster on this site. You personally ruin like 3-4 threads a week. So feel free to go nuts all you want. I only see your replies when someone quotes you, which is very rare.

I think it's when you see "whiplash" on the police report that you start to wonder.

Has anyone here actually ever had whiplash? What's it like? How did you get it?

This is the definition of victim blaming.

"Own up to the fact that you got in his way"

Hard to "shake his hand" when he didn't even attempt to help him up, or stick around to make sure he was alright.

Butt****ing moron.

But the more relevant example is… you can’t shove a reporter who sticks a mic in their face. In some cases practically jabbing it in their face. Which is way worse because the reporter is intentionally provoking. Sports leagues are extremely protective of their media even when they can be way too aggressive. Even so much as yelling at reporters is going to cause trouble.

So what makes anyone think it’s acceptable for a kid whose clearly not trying to bother anyone… just trying to get his equipment from point A to point B. Why would the nfl not protect the equipment guy when they’ve done cartwheels to defend media members? I’d be shocked if the nfl didn’t take a strong stand and if they don’t, they’re hypocrites

Well you see, I’ve read in this thread from a certain poster that his mistake is not that he shoved him, but that he shoved him too hard. He should have calculated how much force the guy could take before the shove, adjust his strength accordingly, and shoved him just enough to push him back three feet but not actually fall.

I used to think like you and then I was leaving the airport after a trip and was at the parking pay booth and a lady hit me in the rear I got out no real damage it was that soft she was nice and we went our way. That night my neck and back hurt terribly and it was a light tap and I was in an odd position inserting my card into the PayStation. I didn't go to the doc or anything and it felt better in a few days, and that was a light tap. Since then whiplash is real and can happen from not too traumatic occasions.
