So yeah if you're not a fan of this team you're probably mocking the chiefs for being enablers and for playing scumbags. Again I have zero issue with it, but you're kidding yourself if you don't think people were judging the chiefs for letting rashee participate vs telling him to work out on his own until everything was sorted out

I'm not saying this like it was bad. I'm just pointing out that we stuck our neck out for him and put our reputation on the line and all we probably asked of him was the simple request to just lay low

All teams have criminals so who cares?

So how exactly is that everything being taken away?

You're talking to somebody who keeps bringing Hunt up without realizing the lesson it should've taught the Chiefs (and us).

Thank you for your in depth analysis of the psyche of a pro athelete but that in no way answers the question I asked. Do you think that if they don't add some arbitrary suspension over and above what the NFL imposes that he "learned his lesson"? You said you trust them and were certain that they would ensure that he got the message.

Do you think the threat of NFL punishment did a single damn thing to teach Kareem or rashee a lesson? So why do you insist that alone is enough?

In other words, you read some bullshit on Twitter.

Why are you so insistent on them learning a lesson? Kareem Hunt went on to play several more years so apparently it worked out fine for him?

The chiefs were willing to forgive tyreek for some really shocking behavior. To the point of trusting him the second time the accusations rolled around. Because he put the work in and I kinda wonder if losing that is why he's become a complete diva in Miami. So it isn't about off the field conduct. This is about a player who was undoubtedly told by Reid and Clark to take the simple step of laying low for a while, and rashee violating that trust.

If the most severe of punishments staring you in the face don't put the fear of god in you to be better, what will?

Dude, stop. This is so dumb. You hear a few people say something about it and you immediately translate that into being "public opinion." Florio is your north star?

Are you this naive? Or is it more likely that you're just not going to hear from the non-Chiefs fans who don't think this is an exile-able offense to even spend a minute commenting on it?

You're living in dreamland.

He's a clown. There is no point even bothering with him. It is a waste of everyone's time.

He's not naive. He's just a complete and total dipshit. I could only imagine how insufferable he is IRL.

I don't think the chiefs should cut him. But they can give him a long hard road to earning his job and snaps back.

Kareem hunt was supposed to have everything taken away to teach him a lesson. There are a lot of rumblings that team owners were furious at Dorsey because there was a gentlemen's agreement that the chiefs were falling on the sword to protect the shield. For the same reason nobody touched ray rice even years later.

Mecca 05-08-2024 10:29 AM

I mean yea I'm sure all the other fan bases want him suspended all year, I mean they want us to lose it has nothing to do with anything else.
