Good point. Didn't Grbac sit the last six regular season games?

Grbac came back to play in the last regular season game against the Saints in the 1997 season.

Otherwise, yes. Identical feeling.

We also still should’ve won that game. I believe it’s one of the main reasons we have instant replay. TG was ruled OB on a TD he was clearly in bounds for. They also had a phantom hold call on a made FG and we missed the kick from 10 yards farther back.

First time all season the Chiefs starting defense will be 100% healthy.

Watson back.

Omenihu completely back from his injury.

Didn't know that. The defense was basically carrying them every game. Gannon wasn't doing anything special but he could at least scramble here and there and make a play. To hold that Denver offense to 14 points and still lose was devastating for the defense.

Bummed af. My sons basketball tournament schedule just got released. League game at 3. Pool play at 4:14 and 5:15. **** me running.

I did a deep dive many years ago. Looked at stats, records, and everything. I basically reached the conclusion that the QB didn't make all that much difference. They were pretty even. That team was driven by the defense.

Ask your son if he loves the Kansas City Chiefs. When he replies yes just say "...so do I". Job done.

Oh, it's a shame that he sprained his ankle Saturday morning and can't make it!

Time to put him up for adoption!

Thursday's practice brought some bad news for the Texans, who saw RB Joe Mixon sit out of the final practice of the week due to injury. Mixon first appeared on the injury report with an ankle injury on Wednesday after practicing in full on Tuesday to start the week. Texans media members strongly believe Mixon will still play on Saturday, but this at least raises some questions about his potential availability. Even if he does play in the game, there's certainly reason to believe he won't be 100% healthy.

Yes, those were bad calls. And I used to blame the officials for that stuff in that game. But looking back, we still had the opportunity to win at the end. Grbac just screwed up the ending. He didn't have a bad game. He just couldn't finish. It was the most anticlimactic ending one could imagine. :banghead:

That defense was the best in the league that year. Grbac really was a decent QB. He just didn't seem to have that clutch gene. Gannon and that offense were playing like a well oiled machine by the end of that season. Marty made a bad choice.

I dunno... My stomach is uneasy about this one...

Oh well, nevermind... I think the pork chops were a bit tainted...

What has gotten better for Houston since we played them last?
