Psychologically, they scored a lot yesterday so today they all must feel like worldbeaters so they aren't grinding out good at-bats. Throw in the mix that we are being less patient against a soft-tosser, it's a recipe for disaster.

With Volsong and Cain going for the Giants at home is not an optimal situation. But, we have Carp and Waino going and counting this team out before 27 outs is a bad bet.

In fairness, it's been lacking all season. It seems it's there in ultra-clutch situations, (NLDS Game 5, for example) but otherwise, guys are swinging at anything.

The crowd was out of it after we didn't score in the second. We've all seen how that plays out with this team all too often this year.

I was in ATL for the one and done game. The crowd was insanely loud. They were pumped. The first playoff in Washington since 1933 had those fans pumped up and loud. The Giants crowd was very loud and excited for game 1. How did those turn out?

Crowd noise is not going to effect the Cards. This is a veteran, championship team that has been there and done that. A loud, sellout crowd is not going to shake them in the slightest.
