Make-up call for Vargas in the 4th!

CaliforniaChief 10-25-2014 09:25 PM

The Giants are winning because they're playing better and the ball has bounced their way here.

We get runners in scoring position, we didn't score them. They did.

They get 2 strikes on our guys and finish the AB, we didn't.

Pretty simple stuff, just execution.

TomBarndtsTwin 10-25-2014 09:25 PM

Finny pitching like a rook tonight.

It was bound to happen eventually.

Yeah, but this stuff isn't magic. The first time Yost stretched Davis after everyone threw a fit about it, Davis lost his scoreless streak. When you start asking guys to do things they aren't used to doing, it can work, but it's not a computer simulation either. You make a legitimate argument, but you are full of yourself if you think that strategy is 100% bulletproof.

As did I, I explained we needed swing throughs to get away from the babip lucky star. Davis has a gear that's just unexplainable this year. The hope is to use him, kelvin, and holland to get the last 12 outs. If we can't score at that point we are at worst in the same spot we are in now.

I could've beeen wrong too, but that was my play.

Iowanian 10-25-2014 09:26 PM

it's not worth being mad....the Giants are seeing and hitting the shit out of the ball, and making some great defensive plays tonight.

The good news is, the Royals are going to pound the ball off of Saladine Al Queda next inning and WIN this Effing Game.

If not....They'll beat the BUM tomorrow night until the candy comes out, return to KC so the fans can celebrate the championship in style....at home....with the team.

THE ROYALS ARE GOING TO WIN!!!!!! THE WORLD F'ING SERIES.

I agree that the series isn't over, but the Royals need to beat Bumgarner. Winning two in a row isn't an easy task against a team like this. (we already did it once!)

Yes it is (over)... We can't hit, and we can't stop them from hitting, I'm pretty sure that means it's over! Every one of their terrorist pitchers is throwing strikes and we either watch them, or hit them right at somebody.

Iowanian 10-25-2014 09:28 PM

Down 3 runs, Yost might as well rest Sub Zero for the championship run tomorrow night and for the 4th Royals win in KC

You're still in the denial phase. Eventually you will get to acceptance.

Shields is going to get anally assaulted tomorrow, Ventura will win Tuesday, and Guthrie will shit his pants on Wednesday. Series over.

tk13 10-25-2014 09:29 PM

So far, our bullpen tonight: 2 IP, 7 H, 4 ER, 3 BB, 1K.

Two runners still on base.

-King- 10-25-2014 09:29 PM

Welp.

alnorth 10-25-2014 09:29 PM

The problem is that due to human nature people don't like to accept that the players on their team lost the game. If that happens, there's nothing anyone can do it. Its easier to blame the manager, even if you have to do it by suggesting something nuts, and then scream after he doesn't do the nutty thing.

Wade Davis gave up five XBHs this year. Every one was on a day where he was on zero days rest.

His splits were worse on zero days rest than any other, but we'll automatically assume that those decisions will work out 100% of the time, because Hootie.

The San Francisco giants are a completely different team if they make the postseason which is why I'm not surprised. They are like the New York giants of football.

Stop being condescending. Why is it nuts to extend your lights out 3 headed monster one inning? Unorthodox, yes. Nuts though?
