Meh, I was taking exception to "if they struggled against Colorado, they'll really struggle against Florida" ...the same shallow comments people make every time their team wins or loses, like we learned something new when they played Colorado.

We've known what this team is for weeks... they're young, soft, don't play defense, etc; and they also have a ton of raw talent. We know their ceiling is pretty high this year and their floor is pretty low... we could have seen either tonight, regardless of what they did against Colorado.

I said earlier today that this game was going to be tougher than Colorado.

Where is prison bitch at?

ROFL

what would Jack Harry say

just flipped the game on. I'm guessing Bill Self does his thing during half time and gets KU back into this thing.

You shouldn't throw the ball away sixteen times in a game let alone in a half.

Self's younger teams probably average 16/game, so I'm pretty used to that or even 20 in a game (KCC posted the trend last season, which was interesting).... not sure we've seen 30 before (not that there's a great chance they'll hit it tonight... gotta believe they'll clean it up some).

Ive had this thought before this season. I'm not sure if Bills offense is best suited for the guys that are only staying 1 year. We are always much better when we have guys that stay for 3 or 4 years and have maybe 1 or 2 of the top recruits. Put 5 freshmen out there in this system and they are so overwhelmed. None of these guys look like top recruits. Just high school guys.

I don't understand why a top recruit would want to play under Bill. His system just isn't suited for someone who wants to stay one year and leave.

This is blatantly false.

Obviously it was going to be tougher, they're a better team than CU and it's a very difficult road environment.

What did you see In the Bahamas and Colorado made you think we could go into Florida and win?

This team needs to get back home against lesser competition and work on their chemistry, confidence, and toughness.

Tough schedules in December are overrated.

Ask Wiggins and Embiid after they are drafted 1 and 2 in this year's draft.

I hate to say it, but it doesn't get much easier at home after this either. New Mexico and Georgetown are also really good. At least they'll have the crowd support, though.

texaschiefsfan 12-10-2013 07:12 PM

I wonder if coach regrets putting this schedule together.

They would have been drafted top 10 had they went to UMKC and played under Kareem Richardson. So...

Swing and miss.

I never predicted a win @Florida either.

But, nobody could have predicted such a poorly played half of basketball.
