He’s guessing like everybody else. This means nothing unless one of those executives are with the Rams.

Let's break it down:

1. Teams can talk and agree on trades during this "dead period"
2. The trades during this "dead period" aren't official and either team can back out
3. Teams can't talk about said trade publicly
4. The player(s) involved can

I would guess that Peters only knows by speculation that he's going to LA, they don't have to tell him til the 14th. If the Rams want an extension than his agent .....

I'm sure the Chiefs have already told him.

Terez is all we got to go on right now.

I am not assuming he is right, I am just commenting that if it is "value of a second" that means we didnt even get a ****ing second round pick. a 3rd and some day 3 bullshit probably.

cooper barrett 02-25-2018 10:56 PM

I think that was last years rules,,,,

Basically it goes like this.

The rules give teams a very small window for tampering before FA begins, but teams tamper around the clock unofficially.

They act like it doesn't take place while their own media arm reports on it and will only act on it if someone bitches. Chip Kelly whined like a bitch and Troy Vincent is still throbbing over Andy, so they got got. The whole wink wink system until we feel like slamming the book on someone is dumb and a reason why the NFL can be real dumb.

Their own rules are a cluster **** and contradicts itself constantly.

I Wonder what the worst thing Peters did -that we never heard about- that made true professionals like Andy Reid feel the need to dump him when he’s getting paid in peanuts on a rookie deal.

What we KNOW

He had a heated yelling match with Sutton on the sideline.
He tried fighting another coach (Toub?)
He walked off during a game.

Those are the things you can’t have.

They dont want another team, publicly, offering more...it's simple. They want to paint it as no team is interested in a top 3, 25 year old CB...making 1.8 million. It's LA or bust...

This deal has all kinds of shady shit written over it...traded for a 2nd in value? You'll never see a deal like this again...

Just because he didn't want to play in KC...doesn't mean he no longer has value to another team.

It would be such a wise move to back out on a trade for a CB after trading your best CB.

They change them when they feel like it, or enforce them however they feel like

Well he already posted a goodbye KC on his Instagram account. When he goes on NFLN in the morning he could spill the whole deal if he wanted to.

Not sure he knows more than he's been traded to the Rams. I'd be surprised if they actually told him for what.
