That’s just his guess.

A few have reported the compensation was “fair” and that the rumor of low compensation is bullshit.

I’m guessing a third and fourth this year and a conditional 2nd that can turn into a first next year...if he keeps his head on straight, he will continue to be the best CB in the league under Wade Phillips playing with the rest of that defense.

The main insiders are being told apparently, and they don't seem interested in saying what it is.

If people outside of the phone call were being told we would know. No chance a bunch of unaffiliated people are being told the exact compensation without it leaking. They are probably given a response with some choice words and they are trying to read between the lines.

I think the persistent fan abuse after the anthem...then Hunt demanding his players stand set him off. He was like "you know what...**** you, I'm out". Having Marshawn in his ear certainly didn't help...

You are saying that a insider cant judge fairness of a deal without actually knowing the deal.

They know what they are told and if they are told the deal is "fair" and nothing else what exactly do you think they are going to say to the public on twitter?

None one of these guys really knows anything, I'd bluff that I knew to save face and make it look like I had the scoop and could be trusted by sources.
