so we know that morgan doesn't bite it tonight.

who is the guarantee that wont make it out after this episode?

dlphg9 04-15-2018 07:54 PM

Wtf? How does that not kill someone?

ChiefsCountry 04-15-2018 08:14 PM

Well that should make next season interesting....

Jerm 04-15-2018 08:16 PM

What an absolute abomination of a finale...thank God its over.

I don't even know where to begin...

bigjosh 04-15-2018 08:35 PM

That show is dead to me.

dlphg9 04-15-2018 08:59 PM

I don't understand the point of slitting his throat.

TinyEvel 04-15-2018 11:35 PM

Dumb. Boring. No action. Budget episode. The Molotov cocktails were the Kingdom's tiger jumping in from the finale a couple seasons ago.

What exactly did we set up for next season?
Negan might get a few cronies to fake go along with the hilltop for 2/3 the season then help him escape for next season's finale?
The Walmart-sized Zombie herd makes its way toward the group and the show is about Z's again? WTH guys.

SAGA45 04-15-2018 11:45 PM

next season should be the absolute last

Pasta Little Brioni 04-16-2018 12:26 AM

What an absolute train wreck. Easy, I was wrong bud. This was shit.

As entertaining as it was watching all those guns explode simultaneously, it was so unbelievable that I had to laugh.

Eugene stated that the inspiration for his sabotage was Gabriel's attempt to improperly seat the primer and induce a slam-fire, but that form of sabotage would've been discovered when the cartridge was either chambered or fired once, and even then the gun would only explode and cause injury/death if it was an out-of-battery detonation, which would never occur so thoroughly as to neutralize an entire army.

But even if that happened, then Gabriel, along with everybody in the line-of-sight of every Saviors' gun muzzle, would've been shot and likely killed, since the sabotage wouldn't have affected the chambered cartridge.

It really did feel mailed in/rushed, taking out almost the entire group of Saviors with one incident was entirely too quick and convenient... not to mention the technical things kjwood brought up

But I will give the writers some credit for one thing, the shocking twist/hook to drag you back next year of turning Maggie and Darryl heel... definitely did not see that coming

Maggie you can kinda see, but its quite disappointing to see Darryl roped into it...

A meh season finale from a meh season. I want to see what the new show runners do with the show next season but there does need to be an end game in sight.

So just a couple weeks ago Rick and Morgan murdered a group of people that ultimately wanted to help them. Now Rick had the guy he watched bash in his friends heads and decides to slice his throat but not enough to kill him. That's like surgical precision. I watched a guy almost die on the ice, but was saved by having world class physicians at his side, from the same thing.

Oh we get new show runners next season? Hopefully they know what they're doing and can turn this bad boy around. Even though I bitch alot I'm with this show til the end, unfortunately.
