They know what they are told and if they are told the deal is "fair" and nothing else what exactly do you think they are going to say to the public on twitter?

But you’re ignoring the fact the guy on Twitter that said it was “fair” claims to know the compensation also.

I would say in that bizarro situation, the report would be sources say the trade is fair. They were more likely told whay the deal is and to not say the actual details. Not really a stretch.

That’s just his guess.

A few have reported the compensation was “fair” and that the rumor of low compensation is bullshit.

I’m guessing a third and fourth this year and a conditional 2nd that can turn into a first next year...if he keeps his head on straight, he will continue to be the best CB in the league under Wade Phillips playing with the rest of that defense.

Well we know Schefter and Rappoport said they don’t believe it’s a first.

That's what I'm worried about. This is a crucial year for Mahomes' development. He needs every asset he can get, which includes knowing how to play with a real defense that can preserve leads and be an actual asset. He will be tempted at times with this shit defense to go back to Texas Tech mode.

The loss of a major asset on game day is of course going to make things more difficult, but I am now convinced that an entire squad of Pro Bowlers would be misused, pussified, and pointless under defensive "guru" Slob Geritol. His entire approach to this traditionally powerhouse side of Chiefs football is abysmal, and we'll be fighting for YEARS to restore some semblance of the type of defense KC is known as long as Reid and cHunt deem him acceptable.

It sucks.

Lets hope the big picture is worth it; Veach has a LOT of work to get done before this upcoming draft.

The whole tackling issue was overblown, dated as a concept, and stupid.

Combination of the two.

This.

True Fans couldn't handle a player like Richard Sherman on the Chiefs.

They'd rather have mediocre players such as Shit Stain Gaines to root for.

This. If Peters walked about all day with a chaw in his cheek, mumbling about "killin' donkeys", this fan base would build a golden throne and temple for him.

Indeed. Doug has surpassed his mentor and former boss in a most pointed and embarrassing way for Reid.

I would say it would be a stretch. In the world of the internet the only way to keep a secret this big means no one is being told. Do you honestly believe a bunch of random NFL "insiders" that have no affiliations with either team know the exact details of the deal without leaking it. Thats a HUGE stretch.

Bill Haas, a real estate agent and former player from 26 years ago, declared the return as "fair." Meanwhile a Chiefs beat writer Terez Paylor says he can't get shit out of anyone and guesses that the Chiefs are getting 2nd round value in return. Do you believe that Bill Haas has any clue on what the hell the Chiefs are getting?

If the ones have seen the trade details leak it, when the teams specifically asked them not to, they can kiss their future scoops goodbye.

They kinda need those to do their jobs.

I've got an inside source on all that but was sworn to secrecy ....

Bill Haas is a real estate agent... what job is he worried about?

Paylor hasn't said "fair." Rapoport hasn't said "fair." Schefter hasn't said "fair."

Who else has said fair? A Bleacher Report writer? For all we know the people saying fair are using Bill Haas' comments as their source. No one knows what the Chiefs are getting except for the people who made the deal.

patteeu 02-25-2018 11:25 PM

Has anyone seen any responses from Chief's players?

staylor26 02-25-2018 11:26 PM

Of course some people know. You can’t possibly be that naive. The thing is, nobody outside of us really gives a **** about it, so why **** your source over?

Peters is the headliner.

Exactly

A leak is coming soon unless there is something involving a new contract.

Titty Meat 02-26-2018 01:18 AM

There were Chiefs players who supported Alex Smith who gives a ****?
