The DB had excellent coverage. The call was good. Sometimes, you just get ****ing beat by elite talent.

It's going to be like this with rookies. Accept it and get perspective.

I was really optimistic about our D after the Bills game. That's gone now.

comochiefsfan 12-04-2022 06:51 PM

Spagnuolo is a ****ing joke.

**** the 3rd and 11 call.

How about the lack of any pressure all night long on one of the most sacked QBs in the league.

What a fraud this pussy is.

Do we still like spags? The D was a no-show today. The Cinci offensive line completely dominated us up front.

He hasn’t been the reason we’ve lost in the playoffs. This is really our first loss this year where it feels like spags wears it. I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Yep. That was an elite throw. We had pressure coming to Burrow and he was limited to a tight window.

Giving the ball back to him with a tie or a lead was the problem here.

.

Mike Danna had a wide open path to Burrow and decided to stop for some reason.

The DL played like ass all day. They got punked by a mediocre OL.

Hammock Parties 12-04-2022 07:25 PM

bad chiefs defense used to mean giving up 40

now we're whining about 27 points allowed on a team's home field being -1 in turnovers

louie aguiar 12-04-2022 07:32 PM

Amazes me people are defending the performance of the D after today

Yeah but somehow if he tackles his ass, I have no doubts he'd get called for roughing the passer

gold_and_red 12-04-2022 07:36 PM

The D just can't seem to make a stop against Burrow or Allen with the game on the line. That is going to be a problem in the playoffs.
Spags is just riding Mahomes and Kelce. You have guys like Evero coming out of nowhere in a dogshit situation in Denver. But Spags is here for so long, yet can't be relied on.

How many punts did they have?

BleedingRed 12-04-2022 07:39 PM

Spags isn’t it, I don’t care how much we argue. Our talent and investment on defense needs to yield better results than this.

Spags Defense is the equivalent of an offense that score 22 a game…. It’s not good enough.

If Danna just keeps running, he probably at least disrupts that throw. An incomplete pass would’ve been perfect.
