No, I was in Spain for most of the WC. He seems like an odd choice for a commentator, or video blogger. Whatever that was.

He was sort of the Spanish color on the games played by Spain, Portugal and most of the South American teams when they were being broadcast. I don't think he provided anything to insightful. But he may have been used toi draw and audience that ESPN would normally lose to Univision. (JMO, tho)

He gave some unjustified cards to the Dutch. The ****tard should have called a foul for Holland but he didn't. The live ball resulting from that stupid shit ass call was used in the counter attack where the Spaniards scored.
