I've defended Sutton plenty. His scheme last year was just bad. Hilariously predictable. You can't blame that on talent. If he was trying different things and none of it worked, you can blame it on personnel. He ran the same thing over and over again. Running dime against Pittsburgh was a joke. We had bottom 5 blitz percentage. Theres no excuse for that. What's the worst that can happen by trying something different, when what you're currently doing is horribly bad.

Now we'll run the same predictable defense with another question mark on corner.

Listen, I disagreed with Peter's kneeling. But that's his choice. This move has nothing to do with football and everything to do with public perception. It shows that KC brass does not care about winning. So that pisses me off.

Just make sure the sidewalk is properly treated outside. We don't want him slipping and blowing out his knee again, then looking to sue.

This is where Chiefs fans look stupid when criticizing the guy. He did try different things. Several different schemes.

How could anyone watch this team and not see that?

Any mother****er that has Justin Houston in coverage downfield on Antonio Brown deserves to be fired immediately

It starts with shock then is followed by a lot of anger then it's followed by acceptance and those posters beating down the ones that don't accept the shitty move.

Pull up that thread and read it, same shit. Matt Cassel thread pretty much is the same I'm sure also. But at the end it was proven, they were awful moves.

I don't like trading MP but I have come to accept it because there is nothing I can do about it except bitch. None of us really know what was going on behind the scenes that caused them to trade him. It is what it is.

We ran some different base defenses. The principles were the same. Extremely predictable coverages. Complete refusal to blitz. Way too much reliance on dime. Way too many games where the offense exposed the same problem over and over, and no in game adjustment was made.

I think the trade compensation for Marcus Peters will include a player and a 3rd round draft pick. There are only two players on the Rams roster (that aren’t free agents) that are realistic needs for the Chiefs, Robert Quinn and Alec Ogletree. Both are significant players at positions of need for the Chiefs.

I listened and kind of agree. You don't trade arguably your best defensive player if you're trying to win a Super Bowl unless you're just blown away by an offer.

ESPECIALLY after last years fuking sorry group of CB's we put out there, other than Peter's. Outside of Fuller. Who do we have? Amerson isn't a lock.

Now we have another fuking hole to address on defense that was not there before and would have been a strength. So now we can add CB to the list of help we need on defense. With no 1st rounder and limited cap space.

Peters is Aids to Andy and therefor the team, there is no going back, neither party wants Peters to be there. It's not if he is leaving, it's where, and how much.

If you think that a broadcaster is going to say "I know and I'm not telling" and think he really knows, then I have a bridge to sell you, cheap. They don't know and if they have data they don'y know if it's real or a dummy test. I think, no I'm sure, Hunt would fire the mole if it got out...

Peters is flexing his orangutan arms by saying he won't sign unless it's a west coast team. I don't know if Seattle is a player for Peters but we know the Raiders and the Chargers are out.

You can guess this and guess that but I'm all in that Veach got the most out of the deal he could but sometimes you sell the fixer upper for less than the lands worth because you have to deal with the Asbestos pipes, siding, and insulation. When you're an 800lb gorilla you have too much to lose to not dispose of hazard to the letter of the law. Last time it was aver $250K plus 2 draft picks.... you think you're going to trust that anywhere near Bill Maas?

that.

Chiefs moving on from a young, elite player at a critical position on the defense, tells me MP is likely a major pain in the ass.
Juice isn't worth the squeeze in the Chiefs mind. and given how Andy basically lets players do whatever they want, tells me that Andy must have been really sick of him. or Andy & Clark etc.

anyone thinking the move is racist etc, should probably lay down on the tracks in front of an oncoming train.

become a PITA to your employer, and you could be out of a job with them. It's not hard to understand. Whether someone agrees with it or not, is another discussion.

Sort of believe the reports that only picks are involved. It is harder to keep the players from leaking out. They are usually told, their agents are told and word gets out. If a player was involved I would guess it would be known by now. I would be pissed if I was part of the trade and not given a heads up and had an extra month to relocate from LA to KC.

Because the secondary sucked out loud dude. Did you miss games like the Raiders loss? We gave up 2 TD’s when we blitzed and got raped down the field over and over again.

Our db’s couldn’t even stop Hail mary’s in Houston. Wtf do you expect any DC to do with Phillip Gaines, Kenneth Acker and a struggling Terrance Mitchell?

There was no scheme that’s going to cover Phillip Gaines, Frank Zombo, Daniel Sorenson, a broken DJ, a broken Tamba, Kenneth Acker, Terrance Mitchell and Eric Murray.

We relied on those guys and not one of them should be starting on an NFL team.
