Haha that description got me laughing. Laughing at it is the best way...especially in such a long season.

However, when Cassel threw his INT to Weddle no amount of laughing could help with that.

I just don't understand how a pitcher can give up two runs to the worst offensive team in baseball without even giving up a hit. What a complete failure.

Al Bundy 04-11-2012 06:12 PM

Mother**** you Broxton... what a turd.

Deberg_1990 04-11-2012 06:16 PM

This wasnt all on Broxton.....our all world defense SS made a big error as well.....

All world dudes make errors. It happens

Did the coaching staff even see Broxton throwing from the stretch during his bullpen session? No way I would put him in like that.

He's actually acquired some decent talent on a budget. Some bad misses too, but what gm hasnt? It's a marathon not a sprint. We gotta believe in the process, after all GMDM > Baird > Herk > hand warts > anal warts > penile warts > herpes > HIV > Aids. Accurate?

The greater than game always starts out as a part of a real analysis and inevitably ends with Cassel. Never fails.

It hadn't been mentioned yet in this thread. I thought it was a requirement for all threads

What a suck way to lose. Holland pitched great. Maybe they need to flip Holland and Broxton's duties.

I think I sum it up very simply:

The A's did not get a hit, and scored two unearned runs.

alnorth 04-11-2012 07:00 PM

Now a little perspective: in NFL terms, we're about a minute and a half into the 3rd quarter of the 1st game against an average team, and we're tied 10-10.

KCUnited 04-11-2012 07:04 PM

Broxton was Cassel and Jonny Gomes was the crossbar.
