One positive about this, is that from what we know about Hali, he's probably pretty embarrassed about this. He might come out on a tear game 2 on.

The best comment I have read from a Chiefs fan this offseason on this ordeal:

Hillis and Charles are going to have to have good games. Not just because of Cassel but it is even more important now to eat up time. Even on drives we don't score we need eat up time and get a few first downs.

Sure, its possible. I think likely just based on our schedule.

I have us with a 3-3 start but ending up at 10-6.

It's not 100% clear, but he was apparently busted for some sort of substance abuse in the past, and the league is just now punishing him for it.

Common theory seems to be he got caught smoking weed or something similar.
