first off...Manningham wasn't wide open...#21 was going to destroy him if Smith threw him the ball

secondly, he wasn't throwing it to Manningham...it looks as if he was throwing it to Kyle Williams...who, for all we know, Smith expected to stop rather than run the same route 3 yards behind Manningham...

either way...that's just a normal incompletion

that is neither a bad play or a good play

just normal
