His argument is that one game comprises a "sweep". Try and keep up. My point is that if there is such a thing as a one game sweep, then a home and away series is different. That, of course, means there is a difference between one game versus a two game home and away series.

no, my argument is that no matter how many times you lose to an opponent, if you lose EVERY GAME PLAYED, then you lost. period. losing 1 game is no better or different than losing 2 games if that is all you can play.

Klein lost a chance at the Heisman when he got swept by Baylor

Avoid a career in accounting.

2 losses = 1 loss?

Damn.

Thanks for helping me understand why I should never argue with you. Indeed, you are a transcendent intellect.

A sweep is a sweep, regardless of how many losses. Quit trying to move the goal posts. My god, a more arrogant and insecure group of people who are fans of a very successful sporting team I have never known. The rules (stupid as they are) have benefited your team in the past. And now that your team is in the position of those that had to share with your boys, you want to be dicks and act like the circumstances are different enough to discredit the team that is sharing.

And people wonder why I choose not to root for my home state's other school. It is because the majority of the fans are smug, petty assholes. You guys enjoy more success than we ever have and probably ever will. Instead of being pricks about all of this, you could be happy that a long suffering fan base is actually having some success.

Or, you could continue to be KU fans and provide me with further laughs at watching you all act bizarre over all of this. Either way, I win.

:doh!: Try losing record = losing record.

It really is. Watching these yoyos struggle with having to share is funny as hell.

I'm guessing it would be a similar reaction by us (KSU FANS), if ku tied us for a Big 12 football championship. Okay, obviously, that's never going to happen, but still......

;)

Oh, I'd needle them over it but, no way I'd be hypocritical about it. The rules affect them same as they did us in football this year and the same as they did OU and Texas when they were forced to share with KU in years past.

Bitch about the rules all you want. Hell, refuse to acknowledge the sharing team if you want. But if you do, you damn well better refuse to acknowledge your team when in that position. It is the blatant double standards that I take issue with, not the good natured ribbing.
