This says a lot about what Self thinks of Landen and Traylor.

The best part is that Mickelson would sit for a year and practice. He would also have a straight year with Hudy to get into KU shape.
By the time he hits Naismith court, he shouldn't even resemble the kid he was as a freshman at Arkansas. |

Now, KU has another transfer target that is a good possibility on top of Mickelson. Trevor Lacey who Self wanted badly back in 2011 is transfering from Alabama. The kid is reportedly wanting to come to KU by a number of sources. Add Black from Memphis and that would be quite a transfer haul in one offseason. Black would be able to play immediately - Mickelson\Lacey would have to sit out a year and then both have 2 to play for KU. Pure speculation, but it's nice to have options when you have multiple schollies in the pocket. |

I think it's good. Give the kid a year and half of Hudy, plus a year of practice and he'll make a solid contribution. I'd say have him workout with the volleyball team, too. :thumb: |

Good God... I looked up his picture and thought I'd been Rick-rolled.

See all the good responses to my point that were below yours? See how your's is the only one that sucked balls, that added exactly zero to the discussion and no plausible explanations? See? |

But, the more front court depth the better, imo. I don't expect Mickelson to be a flat out stud. All he has to do is rebound and block/alter shots. |
