This shit had to happen. I'm not happy that we let so many guys walk in free agency and we didn't do shit, but it was past time to move on from the big contracts and aging players.

I'm not happy with last years draft class now but there is no denying it was devastated by injuries. Let's give these guys time to play and show what they have before we just decide the team is falling apart. This is how good teams work, they build and develop players through the draft. We just have to hope Dorsey can draft and Reid & co. can develop them.

It's WAY too early to say they can't.

He just isnt a good fit for Sutton's scheme. You could see that early on as Dez torched him. I bet he plays better elsewhere in a scheme that fits his talents, especially if its with Crennel in Houston. Regardless, he's always getting dinged up and thats usually when CB's start to decline...Best of luck to him whetever he ends up.

The only players we have who are old/getting old are DJ, Tamba, and Charles (in RB years) and we have good backups for two of the three if they were to get hurt. We are hardly falling apart

Oh, great. Another question mark for the roster.

Don't worry, we'll fill it with some internal candidate who will be BETTER than Flowers despite not being able to play over him while on the roster last year.

(that's how this hopeful optimism thing works, right?)

Just too many question marks for KC and not enough proven commodities to answer them to really expect ALL the problem spots to be addressed.

This is how successful teams operate. They cut good players when they start to decline.

They are below average at the following spots:

I just can't find glasses that are red and gold enough to convince myself that all of those things are going to be sufficiently addressed with internal players.
