Well, to be fair, starting pitching, other than Duffy's bad day at Boston has been great. So, this one was on the pen, specifically Chris Young.

I wonder if it would be better for Chris to start doing it from the stretch instead of the windup now that he's a reliever. It would, in theory, simplify his mechanics.

Plus the roster will expand in September, so that may help as well.

Yeah we've got two more days to roster expansion. Nobody's getting cut at this point. They'll probably just try to ride it out the next two days.

Playoff Escobar is showing signs of life, it'd be nice of Playoff Volquez started to do the same tomorrow.

Hos is showing signs of life at least, Kendrys needs a hot streak in a bad way, both for this team and his contract next year.

A repeat of Volquez' 2015 home start against the Yanks would really be swell about now.
