Yes, he's a great great player, but he's hurt alot and expensive.

McCaffery is the biggest force multiplier, for sure. I like DJ Moore, and he has been super productive, but I don't know that he adds a lot of gravity to the offense (ie attracting attention).

I don't think KC would be gung-ho about paying him the medium-sized numbers on his deal next year and the year after, which affects what you can afford to offer.

How much would they be on the hook? I thought all his guaranteed money was up.

He’s played every game this season…has put up numbers so far with a clown show around him and his cap hit for the rest of the season is a little over $1 million.

It'll never happen but how bad could it be to have CEH ×100. He won't be utilized nowhere near as much as he was in Carolina and there's pretty good depth behind him if he were to get hurt

He's through all of that - would be $12M/year for the next 3 years if they keep him on this deal. I can't quite see them spending the cap space on it.

But shoot. Maybe you look at it as "what can that $12M buy elsewhere, and is the impact the same on your team?"

He's taken about 40 percent of snaps for Carolina this year. If you're playing him 50 percent or less, can you really justify it? I don't think so.

It's what is going to make his trade market so tough for Carolina unless the asking price comes WAY down.

Even a 2nd seems like a no-go for an injury prone player with an impossible cap number the next two years. Maybe if it were low enough for him to be used as a rental or something.

I would give them a 2nd in a millisecond…he’s on pace for almost 1,900 all purpose yards this season.
