I don't think it'll happen, and it really isn't all that necessary. We'll have a pretty complete RB room once Pacheco is back, especially now that Perine seems to have gotten his bearings in the offense a bit more.

Especially with ones who previously broke their collarbone. Chiefs are done addressing the WR position.

I listened to that Denver radio guy from yesterday who said he was hearing Chiefs are about to trade for another defensive player. I mean, he spoke with conviction. Didn't sound excited about the fact, as it was part of a conversation re: Denver not buying so far at the deadline.

Fingers crossed he had a real source. These trades seemingly come out of nowhere, there's hardly any rumors about specifics until it actually happens.

I saw a story the other day suggesting that the Chiefs bring back another former player who is currently a free agent to shore up the secondary. Marcus Peters. I didn't realize that he was available, but I assume that he's washed if nobody has signed him.

Thankfully they are playing a TB team without Evans and Godwin so they will have more time to get someone if needed.

Super washed and the defense is working so well because everyone's bought in and doing their job. Peters problem was always just doing whatever the hell he wanted and hope he picked it. The Ravens got him in line a little better but he still just roamed some times.

Yeah I listen regularly. Those dudes are well connected. Mark Schlereth, Brandon Stokley, Phillip Lindsay, etc...I dont think he'd just be throwing shit out there unless he heard a trade was imminent from a reputable source. Has to be a corner.
