Y’all are lucky.... I got a wire hanger
|
I got the paddle a couple times. Never the switch
|
Wooden spoon, smack to the back of the head, and a belt when I was a real piece of shit.
The crazy thing is people who get disciplined tend to understand that they deserved it and also appreciate the need for it. That said, punching a child, breaking limbs, or anything that results in serious injury (other than a temporary blow to your pride) is unacceptable. |
I wonder what kind of punishment Tyreek gives to his son. We know the belt. Anything else?

Does anyone have access to the exact quote of what Patrick Mahomes said while he was talking to KK & was asked about his thoughts on the situation? And I mean the exact quote. If so, can you please post it?

I will also note that since you have 9 posts...if this is covert Chiefs PR setting the story straight...props. Fight shit-media reporting with fire. If Hill is dealing with a woman that is legitimately crazy...I think the accusations of him being abusive are off the table. She's ****ing pretending to be dead..with his 3 year old unattended. How does someone react to a situation like this ...and you know this rollercoaster has been going on since college. The state found her unstable enough to take her child.. There is no rational way to have a functional relationship with someone who is crazy...you end up being crazy just navigating the landmines. It's an emotional vacuum that sucks your soul...maybe she's bi-polar. That's insane enough to question if she broke Hill Jrs arm and blamed it on Hill...or it was an accident and she's using it as leverage to control him. Did she get pregnant on purpose? This is after she covertly recorded him..and it somehow leaked to TV5...and after, the day of him starting negotiations...somehow the Star bit on police reports. Whatever...that is one ****ed up, toxic relationship. The one good point...at least Hill was looking out for them and called 9-11. If he didnt care..he wouldn't have been checking in on them. I feel dirty just reading about it...what a disaster. They need help...not national public scorn. |

I love the saying "youth is wasted on the young"...seems to apply here. I'm kind of jealous....wish I could meet someone I was passionate enough to risk everything for...well, not $100 million but you get the point. Chances are... she became threatened by Hill becoming a Superstar and the power balance shifted...and what was once dysfunctional became a disaster. |
Yep! abuse goes both ways, when batshit crazy is involved. Going through it myself right now. It's a 2 way street.

Yay at least he will be a Chief and he didn’t abuse his son |

I think a legit question to discuss is how does everyone handle this if the Chiefs let him sit on the suspended list for however long it is and then have him return to the team after.
|
Mathieu didn’t throw anyone underneath the bus. I’m sure most everyone believes that the Audio is disappointing cuz no one wants to hear stuff like that

And it seemed that they only gave a shit because they thought it might be harder to get info from athletes that were the subjects of articles generated by other news departments that might be perceived as having a negative impact on the sports celebrity's paycheck. The news guys by and large couldn't have cared less. They dealt regularly with far more important people than athletes. |

So when is Hill going on the exempt list?? Said this week but still waiting

They specifically predicted Wednesday

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">NFL not expected to take action on Tyreek Hill this week (via <a href="https://twitter.com/MikeGarafolo?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@MikeGarafolo</a>)<a href="https://t.co/uhgEALwG1K">https://t.co/uhgEALwG1K</a></p>— Around The NFL (@AroundTheNFL) <a href="https://twitter.com/AroundTheNFL/status/1123653968012308480?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 1, 2019</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

BOOM!!! League will not take action against Hill until investigation is over with
"I know people have been talking about the possibility of the Commissioner's Exempt List at least by the end of the week. That's usually something they use when there is more of a pressing thing going on, let's say the start of the season or the preseason or one of those things. "In this case as long as he's not there with the team activates, the league has said there's really nothing else to stop him from doing right now while we gather information. So I don't expect anything in the very near future regarding Tyreek Hill and his status with the league." |

Here's my thing, if the only reason you reopen the case is the audio recording, what else are you likely to know now that you didn't know then?
I'm not coming from a "this is a witchhunt" angle, just curious from a law perspective. |

I like how the NFL said the Hill situation isn’t a pressing issue right niw

Quote:
- DA thinks that he can get Crystal to now testify that Tyreek did something or - DA now believes that Crystal and unknown party had a conspiracy to defraud the justice system |

It's not pressing because it's ****ing May and there's not reason to do anything until the investigation is over.

I mean, bring them in and investigate again. But whats the holdup? |

They need to get Hill some counseling. Regardless of how these investigations come out, the guy obviously has a very warped idea of relationships and how to be a parent. He’s soon gonna be a father of 3 children that deserve a father and one that will help them grow into mentally healthy adults.

Hill ran a 4.24 at his pro day.

I thought Hill was going to get cut this past Monday, which gives me slight hope he'll play for KC this season. |
Quote:
Cut ties with Crystal and start sending them child support checks. Everyone will be better off for it. And then he needs to stop trying to turn these ho's into housewives. Date a bitch. Bang the bitch. Ditch the bitch. Repeat. If he can start using these women for pussy and not get all emotional over them that'll keep him out of a potentially troublesome relationship. He clearly doesn't know how to treat a woman and doesn't know how to be a good dad, so stop trying to be something you're not and instead, enjoy the single life of a young, rich man. He's better off that way. |
I bet Hill plays for the Chiefs this year at some point

Barring any new evidence, the pressure to release him will never be greater than it was last weekend. I figured they'd cut his ass Monday or there's a strong chance the Chiefs slow play this and keep him. |
Then you gotta think of extending hill. But for how much
|
From the teams perspective, it sure seems like Veach, Hunt and Reid are like “the league made us look like fools in the Hunt situation when we tried to do the right thing, so **** it. If you want the DV element in your sport, we will play along. We will wait for the league to make their move and from a teams perspective keep Tyreek away from practices and workouts till that happens.”

Sure seems like the “importance of the player” aspect is playing a part in this, too.
Like the Steelers and Rothlisbergsr and Santonio Holmes. If Rothlisbergsr was a really good RB and did what he allegedly did, they probably cut or trade him like they did Holmes who had multiple drug instances and bad press with women. |

A WR that is constantly open is a good thing. Especially when you can see that it's because he's legit running away from defenders who simply can't go stride for stride. |
