Somebody needed to tell you that referees don't typically call fouls for violations of rules that you made up.

CoMoChief 12-11-2013 06:12 AM

Well that no-call on Wiggins sure took all the wind out the comeback sails

#2 seed? If the tourney was today theyd be an 11 seed.

Normally teams in the top 20 with strong computer rankings get 4 seeds. I don't know what you're arguing here but it's really dumb.

It's not like we lost to 3 horrible teams. We've lost to 3 top 25 teams. These losses will mean shit.

Florida (7-2), right now, is a much better team than Kansas (6-3)
What an idiot.

And I wouldn't worry about our rankings. We are probably going to be unranked for the first time since I can remember but we will climb back up into the top 10 by the time it's all said and done.

We lost by 6 to the #19 ranked team (probably higher after this week). Should still be in the top 25.

It's just too easy to defend and it's not all Ellis' fault. He needs to be more aggressive in getting position and grabbing rebounds, though.

Yep.

Buehler445 12-11-2013 09:04 AM

Yeah, that game sucked.

It was nice to see them come back and try to win, but you let anybody run a 21-0 run on you, you're going to lose.

But Florida is a good team. I'd rather take this and (hopefully) learn and get better than beat the **** out of Nowhere A&M in AFH.

Hopefully we start attacking zones. This team should demolish zones, particularly half court traps.

Yup. Until this team shows that it can consistently beat the zone, they are going to see it every game. Jesus, half the possessions were just 2 of the guards playing catch with each other.

Game lasts another 5 minutes and KU wins.

And that's not counting the obvious foul against Wiggins at the end.

oh well, moving on

I texted my buddy the same thing. I'd throw my normal gameplan in the trash and start running through some half court traps and different zone looks.

Fansy the Famous Bard 12-11-2013 09:16 AM

The team is being taught by the rest of the country what it's weaknesses are. I'm happy it's happening now and not in Conference play\tournament.

In both the Colorado game & the Florida game - both teams had the lead & comfortably had control of the game while they were playing zone defense. The moment they switched out to man is when KU started to make their run to get back into the games.

I will trust my judgment.

Ellis was hounded from behind and there wasn't a call.

But, keep casually watching KU games and tell us right from wrong. Please.
