LOL, Alex Smith would have killed to have guys like Santonio Holmes and Kellen Winslow, he was throwing to guys named Arnaz Battle and didn't have any sort of defense to speak of backing him up. Is the Jets situation ideal? No, is it far better than other rookie QB's have dealt with? Hell yes.
