Petro made a good point, if we were getting a player then we would already know by now who it was. Therefore it's logical to assume it's only draft picks, Petro thinks a 1st and 3rd but I don't even think I would be happy with that. Gonna watch that guy mature and get his head put on straight(more than likely) and think what could have been.

Prepare yourself. He's going to look good in that defense for the next 2-3 years. After 2 years though....it'll be interesting to see what happens to him. Wade Phillips won't be there forever and we don't know how he's going to act after he gets paid.

I'm really going to hate it if/when he ends up paired with chuckie and the faiders. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but like HS I got a bad feelin about this.

Agree with this. Would have loved to get Robert Quinn back, but it appears the 3rd (and possibly another pick in 18’) and another 2019 pick is what KC is getting back. Too much smoke around that rumor. I was holding out hope for something more exciting, but it appears Veach/Reid were ready to call it quits with Peters...and Peters limited the teams he was willing to play for (as previously discussed).

-Disagrees that there is no such thing as a player you can't reach. And the fact it got to this point, means that it was never going to work with him here.

-Does fault the Chiefs for not having some kind of press conference about the moves this off season. "The fans need to understand, and you need to explain what you're doing."

He also said this trade is unprecedented, in which there was 1 leak of who is being traded but neither side is disclosing for what. He indicated that the Rams were trying to excite their fanbase with the signing yet didn't want to disclose what they gave up so there may be hope of a wildcard in play. One that might soften the blow for those of us who liked his fiery play.
