I’d call Houston for sure.

Is Tyvon Branch an option? I know he torn his ACL in November 2017, but one has to wonder how far he has progressed on his rehab.

We need defense. Scandrick has been okay, but the jury is still out if he will be good the rest of the season.

Peterson locks down one side of the field. If Scandrick continues to play well, he can play the other side and Fuller can shift back to the slot and shut down the middle of the field.

This defense needs talent anywhere it can get it.

Houston won today, which sucks. At 0-4 they may have been more inclined to take our call, but now they have hope.

I'll agree that we do need defense, but I disagree that CB is the problem. The problem is the safeties keeps blowing coverages, specifically, Murray.

When safeties blow their coverages, it makes the CB's look worse than they really are.

I'll be honest with you - I just wanted to use that gif. Had it in storage longer than a Thomas to Chiefs deal.

Don't worry. I did the same thing with my octopus wielding seal.

Need to shift attention to Patrick Peterson. Cardinals suck.

Can we stop this before it even gets started. He's still only 28 and has 2 years left after this year. That trade will 100% not happen.

Can we also stop saying this. "We don't need corners" is beyond a joke. No, we badly DO need corners.

Texans play Cowboys then Bills

They're not going to want to throw in the towel just yet.

No.

We.

Don't.

The safety play is the big culprit as to why the Chiefs are giving up too many yards. Corners will win some and lose some. It's not like the Chiefs are throwing out Bartee and Gaines.

Who among the sucky teams (Buffalo, Jets, 49ers, Det, etc) has a good safety?

Bills have a couple of real good ones but I doubt they want rid of them.

We absolutely don't. The biggest position of need, by far, is deep safety. There's no reason to give up picks to rent a CB when it doesn't significantly improve the team right now. Keep the picks and take a CB in the 2019 draft.

Veach should make the call and find out.

Leave no stone unturned.
