I think his craziness is what makes him perfect for it. We already have three fairly cool-headed guys at LB. Our defense needs a psychopath as a counter balance. While Tamba's bleeding on people Burfict can point at Peyton Manning and say "here we come, mother ****er."

I actually don't mind having a crazy bastard on defense somewhere. Just a nasty football player that isn't afraid to stick his nose in places.

However, when it starts costing the team it becomes a problem.

Not even close to the same thing. Disagree completely here.

Bengals are winning this draft

That's why I think a coach like Romeo is perfect for Burfict (see what I did there?) because he's a disciplinarian, but he's also a guy that you want to play hard for...which is something he didn't have at ASU. Erickson's track record is to let his players do whatever the **** they want on the field and off. If you've seen 'The U', you know what I mean.

Burfict is just made to play the thumper role in this defense on top of that.

I don't have a problem with crazy. I do have a problem with with a player that will continually hurt your team by not playing smart football.

Crennel's a disciplinarian?

That's a newsflash.

Romeo is in no way a disciplinarian.

He is soft on players. He let the inmates run the asylum in Cleveland.

Has no one picked McNutt? is Boss upset?

So what do you call him not starting Bowe against GB (I think that was the game) because he violated practice policy?

Strongside 04-28-2012 01:26 PM

And I'm not saying he's Bill Parcells, I'm saying he doesn't put up with bullshit.
