The NFL has pretty much gotten what they want in terms of the narrative. We’re now fully accepting of the fact that they’ve flushed their rulebook down the toilet and instead of asking why that’s even being considered we’re debating the finer points of how much of a f-over this is instead of repudiating it outright.
That said, if they were going to make up new rules this certainly doesn’t impact what could have been for KC like it does for Cincy. The Bengals went from having a real shot at a one seed to hoping things work out on a coin flip to even be able to host a WC game. |
