He was still worse than he was as a rookie. I'd call him cheap depth if I thought they'd layer him and stash him on the PS.

Could care less he's back, but I'm guessing its near the vet minimum, and may not make it to the regular season, it will be interesting to see what the signing $ was in this deal.

It’s probably one of those veteran exception deals where he gets more than minimum salary but only counts for the minimum against the cap.
