He was still worse than he was as a rookie. I'd call him cheap depth if I thought they'd layer him and stash him on the PS.

They won't he's better than 50/50 to be the starting NT in week 1 next season. Because they can't quit the guy.

Sweet! For some reason I thought he was a FA

I'm pretty sure he confused Mike Pennel for Mike Danna. Mike Pennel has re-signed. Mike Danna is still a free agent.

Because he's the only part of Veach's first draft class that actually managed to survive past his rookie deal?

Best answer I've got. It ain't performance.

Is it a Joe Cullen thing? DL is the only position group I've seen the Chiefs do this with recently.

Bringing back Nnadi? I really hope they don’t play him over Farrell. Let the young kid develop. Nnadi is not very good. Why do we love him? Hopefully we draft someone and cut him.

Let Pennel and Farrell run the NT spot.

KC Hawks 03-14-2024 06:21 PM

Nnadi must make the best burgers for Andy or something because I don't get it. Whatever.

Now bring back Big Mike Danna and draft another DT

I feel like the DT room is set. We lack depth at DE with Omenihu hurt and Danna likely gone now.

Is it September yet

He was more than marginally better, but not great. He was total ass the 2 years before, but at least he had plays this year where you go, ok, that was decent. Could care less he's back, but I'm guessing its near the vet minimum, and may not make it to the regular season, it will be interesting to see what the signing $ was in this deal.

Many people are saying that if Derrick Nnadi wins a 4th ring that he’s a first ballot hall of famer.

duncan_idaho 03-14-2024 06:27 PM

It’s probably one of those veteran exception deals where he gets more than minimum salary but only counts for the minimum against the cap.

Whatever. He was better this year and knows the system. They could do worse, I guess.

He went from being ass to a bad player. There is no justification for this signing unless he is the PS guy kept for depth.
But we all know he will be the starter.

Didn’t realize Berrios was on the market… I am biased towards him, a Miami guy.
