I'm really torn on this still. On one hand, Peters was the best player on the field in the playoff game and won several games for us over the last three years. However, the defense was complete ass outside of someone who is apparently very difficult to deal with. So I guess if Peters being gone is the difference between the defense being the 29th ranked or the 31st ranked who really cares?

So basicly nobody knows jack shit. We have heard it's crap from a few sources and we have heard it's fair and good from a few sources. Trade Smith and we know everything. Trade Peters and its a matter of national security.

Based on historical precedent and the draft value chart, Marcus Peters' trade compensation should be something along the lines of:
2018 3rd round pick #87 2018 5th round pick #160 2019 3rd round pick Personally, I hope that is the floor...anything above and beyond, this ends up being a decent trade despite the fact that right now it feels like we are going to get fleeced. Quote:

I will only like this deal is Quinn is a part of it, he would be perfect fit on other side of Houston. |
Nick Athan is a ****ing idiot.
Almost worse than Barry |

To what extent will be if he's offered and accepts an extension right away of they keep him on his rookie deal. I'd keep him on the rookie contract unless he's a fire sale until he proves he can be coached. If Peters is motivated and preforms consistently he may see an extension or a trade at the end of 2018 season? Who knows? He could be too expensive to keep or no one will touch him. Who knows? |
Cooper Barrett and Cooter Bailey in the same thread. The space time continuum is going to be destroyed.
