The good news is that it's now clear that Veach & Co are definitely aware that the defense needs an upgrade. Which means if somebody like Matthieu DOES land on the trading block, it's safe to say the Chiefs will be in on the action!!!

It’s just hard to plug and play on the nfl.

Earl was probably the guy I’d do it for. Unless you have the opportunity for something crazy like a Thomas otherwise I’d just stand pat and pray

Still going after him in FA. This is Sammy Watkins/Anthony Hitchens again.

Veach is gonna go hard after the guy in the Spring.

I expect Veach to go all out next offseason to get ready for a big run.
