I would imagine that Quinn has to be considering retirement... he has no role on that team, I'd rather see Tebow in if Orton is hurt. Quinn just sucks, he can't move, can't make a good decision... he's horrible.

I'm pissed they traded away Hillis for that jacka$$.

Yeah, I think he did fine... looks like things are still going a million miles per hour in his head, but once that slows down, he should be ok... but he's not starter material for another 2 years in my opinion... nothing wrong with taking the Aaron Rodgers path and learning with a clipboard.

Decker looked good...

I agree. Haters need to quit hating him for things they shouldn't.
What matters is that he will torment the AFCW for sometime to come. Hate him for that.

And his mechanics weren't too shabby tonight and by all accounts, he's not going to be the starter for three more years, minimum.

I'd take him over Cassel, right now.

This. I watched a bit of the game last night, and he threw the ball pretty well. Couple of more years... if that... and I'm afraid the Donx will be set for years to come.

People hate Tebow because of the hype of Florida. Guess what, they deserve it. They have kicked ass for years now, and he has been the leader of their dominance.

Look at the successful QB's in the NFL. A fairly large number of them had to fight, scratch, and claw their way to the top. They had to overcome many obstacles, work hard, and earn everything they get. They also have the mental makeup in which they will not allow themselves to lose.

Tebow fits the mold of a great NFL QB mentally. He needs work on the mechanics side, which, with good coaching can be fixed. The offensive system at Florida is about as far away from a pro offense as you can get, so that will take some time for him to learn.

Given some time, I would take him on my NFL team any day, and twice on Sunday.

QB is mental. Don't let your dislike of Tebow cloud that.

I personally wouldn't want him to be a first or even second year starter. He would need an good coach to bring him along in the areas that have not been developed in college. If he is still there in the mid rounds, why not take a shot?

I am simply stating that I believe that Tebow has the character and mental makeup of a winner. He has all of the intangables that it take to be a champion.

My thoughts a year ago. I hope I am wrong.

You guys are giving Knoshown creamy pants with all these comments...

Tebow is a work in progress, I'm hoping the plan is for him to be looking at 2012 as the potential beginning of the Tebow Era. They signed up Orton for next season, so I think that's very positive in regards to the direction.

I'm sure he'll get time randomly, but we'll see... there's nothing wrong with having him wait and develop. Orton can play well, just need the WRs to step it up this season and for that ground game to help them.

Knowshit hasn't hit puberty yet, just FYI.
Tebow definitely played better than I thought he would, even counting the int. Also he is one tough s.o.b,and that should pay dividends when he take's over as your starting QB.I'm sure the "mood" of the locker room is totally different with him around.I so hate that you guys drafted him!:cuss::cuss::cuss:

ROFL

One thing from watching last nights game is the Steelers are an un-disciplined team.

I won't hold it against you... he's still a work in progress, but do you really hate that Denver drafted him? I'm still on the "undecided" side of the fence with the move to get him.

The only negative I saw was his delivery seems to take forever. It's almost like watching a pitcher wind up.

He drops the ball to his waist and then fires. If he doesn' fix this he's done as an NFL QB.

Maybe. I just saw part of the game. But when I was watching, he threw strikes to his receivers. Couple of them were downfield 20 or so yards too. Something they said he couldn't do. But it sure looked routine.

That delivery is something he is working on and there were a few moments when he didn't appear to make that mistake... it's going to take time to change that habit.

Absolutely! I like the kid and really wanted to "root" for him at the NFL level. No I'm not a FL fan,I just actually think he's a good kid and a hell of a football player.I think he is a work in progress as you said but,I think he has all the shit that you wish so many other players had.Heart,drive,etc..... I just can't back him as a Donk.:shake:

An exception to the rule doesn't make it THE RULE.Nice try though.
