its still that way, depending on the type of policy. I would assume that someone so young doesn't have their own individual life policy, and group/employer policies may not have the same exclusion.

Confirmed.

Sucks, something not to lose your life over. You can make new friends and have a new career at her age. Hell, how many people are still friends with people they knew in jr. High why they were in college. Same with people you still great friends with from college to mid 30s.. hopefully she pills through.

Anyway, saw this message from one of my pals who works for a prominent local hospital, and whose daughter goes to SM West:

"I have it on good authority that she is in critical condition in a neuro ICU, and may not live. That has not been released to the media, but I know a few folks in the healthcare biz in town."

Wow....crazy and tragic.

Damn. Tragic indeed. Looks like she made a series of stupid mistakes in her young life that ended with a suicide attempt, that may yet have suceeded. Even if she actually did do all of the things discussed in this thread, nobody deserves to die over shit like this.

As much fun as it is to joke about it.....it is real life to real people.

I actually feel pretty bad for all of the families involved.

Agreed. But why let that fact interrupt such cyber-fun as pretending to send the husband an invitation to join up here?

Maybe. I am just speculating as to what happened in this case. But in other auto accidents I have heard it argued that a person meant to hit the brake, panicked, and hit the accelerator and the argument flew with insurance. Tough to tell though with all the other circumstances surrounding this mess.

We need a ruling here. As I understand it, we can have our fun if our target is healthy. We can even have our fun if our target is dead. How much fun are we allowed to have with her hanging somewhere between those two states?

I think there's a massive difference between having a few laughs here and actually trying to engage the people involved.

agreed. The husband as far as we now didn't do a damn thing wrong, and is likely suffering at the moment over all this.

I'm not sure why but Fox 4 showed the bra pic and the nude pic but only from the face up of course.

Agreed. That being said, on a personal level there's some stuff that I'm just not comfortable joking about. Not knocking those who choose to do so but with some recent occurance like this where a young person tragicly may or may not live to tell their side of the story I personally don't like to joke about it.

In other news, If I don't get a contract extension before the end of the season from CP, I think I'm going to have my agent contact TMB and see what they've got to offer for my services.

Donger 03-09-2011 12:57 PM

What is TMB?

Iowanian 03-09-2011 12:59 PM

the main board...the one linked.

A little raunchy, a little offensive...alot funny.

I'd never seen it before today.
