My sister and her husband in Kailua-Kona are okay. Apparently a lot of water. I quote: "It appears that Alii Drive was under water to a depth of several feet and well back across the road. The pier was completely covered and the King Kam has a foot of water in the lobby. Reports of homes in Kealekekua Bay ripped off their foundations and floating in the bay." Didn't affect them directly, their home is well up on a mountain, but they are concerned about some folks they know.
Youtube time-lapse photography someone took of the surges there: <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/YjCV182S5y4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

Yeah, I've been there.... Not too often, but I'm familiar with it.
The reason that I explore all of this stuff and find it endlessly fascinating is the indigenous cultures of the world predicting that shit would go crazy during this time. Plus, I find the government to be very corrupt, so I always look at things from a skewed perspective. I ask "Who has the most to gain" and in most instances its the govt... I also watch for the classic "Create a problem... wait for a reaction... offer solution" that rears its ugly head time and again. Most people suck on mainstream media's teet, whereas I look for what the real story is. Sometimes I'm right, sometimes I'm wrong... and Im not afraid to question the official story. Sometimes that makes me a "kook", but my self worth and opinion of myself isn't based on others opinions of me. I'm a free thinker. :-) This disaster is completely natural in my estimation, although HAARP was going at full blast during the time of the earthquake. So, I'm not 100% sure of it being completely natural. But then again, that is me. I was in the military, I know somethings aren't as they appear to most citizens... and that is fine. |

Wait until you guys find out the energy companies are experimenting with actually triggering earthquakes in order to generate tsunamis in order to harness the power of wave energy.

teedub, I wonder what your definition of "the government" is. What does Barak Obama stand to gain from any one of your conspiracy theories?
