Smart doesn't have to get into a fight through the media. All he would have had to say was "I thought I heard a racial slur and I reacted poorly". He didn't/couldn't say that because it isn't true. He's hoping this will go away before people start asking him the tough questions like "do you feel bad for painting a man as a racist to try to cover up your bad behavior." |

At this point anyone still believing Smarts version has an agenda. Racism exists all over, it just not here, no matter how much you want it to be. Actually there is racism here by Smart in playing the race card. That is the only racism involved in the incident |

And no, if they can't be certain what they heard (which wouldn't be surprising by the inconclusive video where you can't exactly hear much of anything), I wouldn't expect anybody to take that kind of a stand. Quote:

If Tech had come out and said "we interviewed all media members in the area and fans around the incident and they all said Orr called Smart the N-word", KC Connection would be all over this. It would be nothing but "see, Orr is a racist and should be banned from all future Tech games."
Because it is the other way, he needs a list of names of the people interviewed, what they said, an IMAX quality video, and a recant of his statement by Smart. I'm convinced he is related to Smart or gunning to be his agent. |
