Ellis coming back is very good news, he had hit another level prior to his injury

we'll have the best guard play in awhile with mason and graham, and i'd expect big things from Svi too

get Diallo and this team will be truly scary...time for some good health going into the tournament

Why, it's all just a crapshoot.

I can see why he was pissed. The last 4-5 weeks of the regular season were a travesty. Losing the big 12 tourney to isu like the did was inexcusable.

Then to end it with WSU drubbing his ass like a rented mule. He is second fiddle now to Marshall and will be until they play again. He should be pissed.

Reerun_KC 04-14-2015 08:16 AM

With Ellis returning someone needs to keep KCC away from sharp objects and firearms.

This could get messy.

I find it pretty funny also. So many KU fans crowed about it before the game.

Hip surgery for Greene

I wonder if this is why Greene went cold late in the season.

“@GaryBedore: Some news tonite: Brannen Greene will have hip surgery this wk and be out 5 months. Bone spurs, labrum. He will not play in World Univ Games”

“@GaryBedore: Greene however will be good to go for next season and will not be a red-shirt candidate, Self said.”

I posted about it earlier. They talked about it some on the radio show that he was a hurting unit and it put a hitch in his giddyup.

As for Ellis, I hope he regains the intensity he had prior to his knee injury. He was valuable then. As a soft bitch, he wasn't so valuable.

The main problem is that Ellis is a liability on Defense. Perhaps we can score another big and have him play the 3, he seems a better fit there than the 4 or 5.

Unfortunately, that's like 90% of his KU career.

Word is Diallo is going to St. John's. That would be a huge loss for Self and KU. They'd be stuck looking for transfers or some other sloppy seconds. KU would essentially be in the same spot as last year without an elite big.

Bragg and Diallo are the same size.

Bragg doesn't bring the defensive presence that Diallo does. Isn't as strong on that end.

I see. Fingers crossed Diallo is swayed our way.

See why I didn't get all giddy when you posted a tweet about Diallo favoring KU a week ago?
