What a tremendous performance from Malone.

Agreed. Dude looks like he's 25, not 40. His shot has been up and down but it was up tonight after going 0-5.

As much as i would delight in seeing another team beat the lakers...it aint gonna happen! Lakers coasted tonight..did Shaq even break a sweat?? They can turn it on or turn it off at will......whats sad is....the T-Wolves are the 3rd best team in the NBA.....The East isnt even close......well maybe the Pistons will have a chance since they play that "thug" ball..

His D has been much more important than his O.

Did you guys hear Phil Jackson's postgame press conference? LOL He said, "it's good that we got this game, now we can finish it on our home floor." Talk about confidence. Barkley said that the Lakers don't respect the T-Wolves and think they can sweep them.

The only way I'm a Pacers fan is IF they play the Lakers! ;)

Off topic a little...

I heard early on that Tracy McGrady has told his agent to try to work out a trade with either the Lakers or Spurs. He's an ok player. He's a Kobe clone except Tracy doesn't play defense that well.

Nor does he hit huge shots in the clutch. Nor has he played in a meaningful game.

I don't want any part of TMac. I hope he goes to SA. The Spurs would have to give up Manu and Parker for him.

I don't know how many times I have said the Eastern conference of the NBA is like the minor league of MLB but it's been a lot.

Only way the Lakers lose now is to entirely collapse from within. next game is a must win for the pups.

What a great start to the series much better than I was expecting even.:thumb:

Has anyone heard anything regarding Kobe's career with LA? Is he sticking with wanting to go to the Clippers after this year or what?

Rumors are now very strong that he is likely to end up with the Clippers. He wants a team that he feel is his team

Did you notice anything funny about Minnesota's crowd? They weren't pumped at all at the beginning of a game. It was like a Bingo hall at tip off. The fans don't even think their team can beat the Lakers.

On another note, did you happen to catch the first part of the telecast when they TNT was having technical difficulties...the got back on after a minute or two and Barkley said, "It's hard to get power when you're in the middle of nowhere." I love Barkely. ROFL

I sure hope not, he could win a couple more if he just stays put.
