I forgot to bring my laptop or I'd post some cool pics. I took em with my digital and dot have any way to post them until I get home in a few days. Only have the phone and iPad and I'm leaving the iPad in the room while we go to practice.

There was a metric shitton of fans out there today, too.

I didn't see Andy Reid fall over the barrel and didn't hear anyone talking about it, either. Did that really happen?

Pasta Little Brioni 08-03-2013 12:21 PM

Boss, what about Kendrick Lewis?

I am assuming Abduallah isn't getting serious work because he's fasting?
It is Ramadan but I remember him working with MIN during the same month.

What were your thoughts about J. Powe? Did you get to see much of him practice?

at this point, i'd be thrilled if we could cut that pussy baldwin

I wouldn't be surprised one bit if he makes the final roster (Junior Hemmingway). He was getting separation and making some tough catches. Catches that Baldwin would have dropped.

I said out loud on more than one occasion that I wouldn't be surprised if they end up cutting Baldwin.

Bowe
Wylie
Hemmingway
Copper
Avery
McCluster

I'm thinking about saying something to that effect to Baldwin if I get close enough in the next couple days. I was close enough today, but chickened out. That guy is trying to get by on physical talent alone and in the WCO, he doesn't offer a lot that others don't already offer.

If I was a coach, I would be tempted to tell the young man to go home and reevaluate his career and come back tomorrow and show me he wants to be part of this team on the field.

No, I'm not. I've watched Kelce. I hope he develops, but he was largely a non-factor in college when playing. Athletic as hell, but dropped easy passes at key moments and has a ways to go. Excited for his blocking though.

Pasta Little Brioni 08-03-2013 12:35 PM

Baldwin getting reps with the 1's?

Quesadilla Joe 08-03-2013 12:36 PM

Is Berry still alive? I haven't seen his name mentioned by anybody all offseason.

Rasputin 08-03-2013 12:37 PM

Does Baldwin at least put forth effort to block for JC down field? I assumed with his size that is something he should be good at.

RealSNR 08-03-2013 12:38 PM

Trade Baldwin to New England for chump change. Tell Belichick it's Scotty-approved, and that he's getting Julio Jones for an unbelievable deal

Davis will end up being our best draft choice. We got a total stud.

Not sure I'd go that far.

Honestly, I'd say it's literally a 3 way tie and if any player has an edge it's probably Kelce.

I was surprised to see Moeaki being used as a receiver as much as they were. He was split out wide as much as he was inline and made a lot of big catches today.

I wanted to watch him a lot more, but when they were running team drills with him involved, it was pretty far away from me. The defense did well against the run with the exception of 3-4 runs that broke loose. Who can blame them when Jamaal Charles is the guy running the ball?

Direcshun was closer to that part of the field and might be able to offer more than I can. I can say that Poe and Powe seemed to be near each other a lot in-between reps and even came over and signed next to each other and both left as soon as the horn sounded to signal that the players required time to sign was over.

Pasta Little Brioni 08-03-2013 12:43 PM

Nope.

I pointed it out a few times, too. Runs to his side of the field and he was loafing.

I know it's just practice and all, but if I were his teammate, I'd be pissed that he isn't giving it his all. At least it seems that he isn't.

I want to see Poe & Powe lined up next to each other breathing down the center neck. I'd like to see a double push up the middle with DJ blitz. One takes out the center one takes out RG or LG and wham Houston or DJ up the middle with a big loss in the backfield.

O.city 08-03-2013 12:54 PM

His true colors will come out during preseason for sure. I think the Chiefs will address him if he doesn't perform to high level expectations. He should be put up on the trade block.

He was in the box a lot and did just fine in 1on1 drills.

I still think they need to move him to free safety and that the majority of his skill set is being wasted...but it's whatever at this point.

At one point in the guys career, somebody will move him to fs and his career will be reborn.

The main issue and fear about Berry is that he's changed player because of that pussy assed cutblock, and will never meet his potential because of that injury. Does he still have problems with TE coverage?

I don't agree with this. He was back to his old self the back half of the season. No safety in the league can guard an elite tight end one on on and succeed.

He wasn't the same explosive maniac like he was in the playoff game against the Ravens. Eric wasn't bad, at the end of last season but he wasn't elite either.

They play him like how the Steelers play Polamalu. I have no problem with that. He's more Polamalu than he is Ed Reed.

Yeah, Haley has a strict approach thats hard to get used to at first, but i bet much of that grumbling is purely Raper pitching a bitch because he's far too used to getting handjobs from his good pal Arians.

I bet we dont hear much more of that, i bet Tomlin smacked Ben around like a recalcitrant ho for airing all of that out in public.

Haley is there for the long term, Raper will be gone in 2 seasons at most. He's done.

Oh yeah. I literally got Bowe to tell me his goals for this year, too.

I said "1500 yards and 15 touchdowns this year?"

I thought that was pretty cool that he didn't just say "yeah, that sounds good" or something and actually replied with specific numbers.

The point is who'll sling it to him ( Daniel, or Bray) once Smith is injured which will happen considering ,Smith's injury history, and the opposition's passrushers on the Chiefs' schedule .

He has a spoiled sense of entitlement that i just cant stand, but outside of that i'd love nothing more than having that guy here for his last 2-3 years... i cant think of a single guy in my lifetime who better stood tall under pressure to make the throw than him.

A big, physical pocket passer... thats my American Idol, not the best arm but strong enough to get it there under extreme duress.

You wait, his clone Josh Freeman is going to have a huge contract year... the Bucs are going to surprise people just like the Chiefs will this year.

BossChief 08-03-2013 10:55 PM

Next man up. Almost any quarterback could get Bowe the ball. The guy gets open and has the size and body control to go get it.

If Alex Smith gets hurt, so be it. I, for one, don't hope that happens.
