1. andy reid is a tub of lard

2. the chargers should be ashamed and hang themselves.

Can't ask your kicker to be your entire offense AND come up with an onside kick at the end of the game

The NFL is going to need something different on Houston's offense if they're going to give Watt a playoff spot. Big TV market or not, that team is boring. They're not going to pull much national audience.

40-3 or 45-44 its still a loss. The offense was really bad. Their heads were not in the game. Defense did pretty solid. not going to bitch about that. Offense was terrible.

Always say if the Chiefs play their game they win. They didn't, they lost.

Brock Osweiler has five INTs in his last three starts, dating to Week 17 with Denver last season. We're going to need him to lose some games for them or this will come back to hurt us...

You sure it wasn't Demetius Harris fumbling? Or Steven Nelson holding to prevent Hill's TD? How about Maclin dropping a crucial pass and forcing us to punt? What about Ware fumbling? How about our defense forgetting to put a CB on the field after a time out and giving them a first down?

Christ... why do you even watch the game? Just wait for the box score and make your decisions on how the game went based on that alone.

The Chiefs had their shit pushed in all day long. Our defensive backfield is in shambles and let a rookie put up 100+ yards on them. Smith was terrible today, Maclin dropped more passes today than he did all of last season, the play calling was terrible, Peters was as bad as he was brilliant, and the Chiefs missed SO MANY tackles.

But please... mock those who see the team for what it actually is based on how they performed.

Well, I was disappointed in our tackles today. I thought Schwartz was supposed to be the best RT in the league? He and Fisher were both pretty bad today. Pressures, sacks, false starts. And the drops by Maclin and Harris? But I'm sure that Clay and Dagnabit are thumping their chests about Alex having a bad day. He did. But it was hardly all him. The whole offense failed today. Let's not forget the 4 turnovers. I am still shocked over the Ware fumble. The defense did pretty good though. Other than giving up a couple of big plays in the first quarter. The taunting call on Peters was bullshit though. I don't know what the ref was thinking on that. But, overall, it's just one game out of 16. Bounce back next week and beat the Jets at home. Right the ship. We got this. Go Chiefs!!

In a league that is set up for and favors the offense we cannot score one touchdown. This offensive scheme ****ing sucks the penis.

Exactly my thoughts.

RINGLEADER 09-18-2016 02:28 PM

Offense was awful for sure and everyone gets some blame. Alex was erratic and made more bad throws than I think I've seen since the 2014 opener against Tennessee. But it's not on him -- Maclin dropping four passes, others who could have made plays on throws (even if a better throw should have been made).

Then there's the turnovers: The center causes the first turnover (and the points that made the difference in the game). Spencer Ware commits his first fumble at the end of a fine play. Harris drops the ball for what should have been a fourth fumble. All those turnovers seemed to happen just as momentum was about to gather -- instead the car went completely off the rails.

Bad game. Sucks for the Chiefs to lose to a good team in their house when they could have won if they had only been competent (even without Charles or Houston or our starting Guards). They'll either learn from it and win next week or they won't.

Was happy to see the defense got its stuff together. Feel better that we can hang with anyone and love some of the players we're starting to see really produce.

DaneMcCloud 09-18-2016 02:29 PM

That was as poorly a managed offense that I've seen since Crennel and maybe Herm was the head coach.

The defense played well enough to win but the Chiefs offense and Special Teams were a disaster. I also didn't realize just how important LDT and Ehinger were to the offensive line, as Alex faced interior pressure all day.

Morse's snap, Ware's fumble, Santos' kick out of bounds were just too much to overcome.

Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy.

Oh, and Schwartz has not been as advertised. Good ****ing grief.

tecumseh 09-18-2016 02:29 PM

Texans didn't cream us. We shot ourselves in the foot with dumb penalties, dropped passes, fumbles, inaccurate throws. Osweiler two picks on 57%. Miller less than 3.8ypc. we all expected Hopkins and fuller to get some numbers.

Mistakes that were uncharacteristic of this team. Quit whining, there's 14 games left and two of the better defensive lines are now behind us.

Never was close? WTF are you talking about? For as terrible as the offense played, the Chiefs still had a chance to make a 3rd down stop (if Gaines makes the tackle) late in the 4th and drive down for a TD to tie the game. Alex was off on many of his throws. Maclin couldn't catch the ball for awhile there. Andy called a bad game on offense (especially start of 2nd half). Schwartz was owned by Watt and really didn't look to be that great tackle that we expected to be getting in FA. Everyone on offense couldn't keep a hold of the ball. Way too many penalties killed drives and took away a kick return TD. And despite the fact that the defense was put in shitty positions all day long, they played pretty well and the Chiefs were very much in this game until the end.

Baby Lee 09-18-2016 02:31 PM

Let us not forget the holding call and Nelsen on the Hill 105 yard kickoff return that brought the ball back and took the points off the board. On a side note, is Hill hurt? He was doing some kind of a weird walk like someone shoved a Louisville Slugger up his ass along the sidelines. I couldn't tell if he was hurt of if he was just dinking around.

GloryDayz 09-18-2016 02:35 PM

Look folks, the team strapped their wagon to the horse named Smith. Not a bad QB, but not the super-star athlete (pin-point passes 99% of the time), or a leader, that's needed to get over some humps. And he might be more of a leader than Andy allows him to be, but that's speculation.

I'm NOT bashing him, but I'm not going to give him any inches he's not earned either. He has moments of greatness here and there, but they seem to be nothing more than moments.

But no matter what, he's our horse, our best horse, and until we get another horse (not likely) he's what we have to ride.
