Everybody on defense played better after he was benched. As productive as he was he didn't make the players around him better but instead brought them down with his antics. From the outside looking in that's what I saw.

Wow. They gave him away.

**** this gay earth and **** this loser franchise

pugsnotdrugs19 02-26-2018 12:48 PM

Damn...

Marcellus 02-26-2018 12:48 PM

Yuck, but it just shows he had next to zero value on the market.

Should have kept him another year IMO but it looks like they wanted him gone as fast as possible.

Just wow.

Tells you everything you need to know. This is Marcus’s last chance.

Could see this guy out of the NFL in 3 years

I know he's piece of shit but good God is he that bad?

He must be a total Peter head

This report from the Seattle Times says it was a 7th:

https://www.seattletimes.com/sports/...wearing-no-76/

Battle, acquired from Kansas City for a conditional 2018 seventh-round pick on Sept. 2, had not been active for any game this season. It’s unclear if the conditions for a trade have been met.

We veached and lubed our asshole with this trade so it didn't hurt quite as much.

Listen... Someone is gonna **** you in the ass. Now, you can take that ass ****ing now, and I'll give you some lube and ibuprofen. Or, you can take your chances and let Marcus **** you in the ass in two years. But your ass might already be red and raw by then, and he doesn't like lube.

Sigh... hand me the lube.

Welcome back to reality for the True Fans in this thread who spent the past 3 days trying to convince themselves this was a good deal.

Red Dawg 02-26-2018 12:51 PM

What done is done. Brett will have to hit FA to find a starter.

KChiefs1 02-26-2018 12:51 PM

Has anyone figured out point wise what an All-Pro shutdown CB is worth?

It is now obvious this was a necessary deal.

Noted. I will update.

This solidifies to me that we are realistically looking at 2019 to be our breakthrough year.
